KJ Choi WITB

KJ choi WITB 2026: Full Bag Breakdown & Specs

KJ choi broke ground as the first Korean player to earn a PGA Tour card, and more than two decades later he's still teeing it up, now on PGA Tour Champions. Nicknamed "Tank" for his former life as a competitive power lifter, his 2026 bag mixes four different brands built around one goal: finding more distance off the tee in his mid-fifties.

Titleist GT2, 10°

Choi plays the Titleist GT2 at 10°, fitted with a Graphite Design Tour AD IZ shaft. This is a real change from a few seasons back. He struggled off the tee with a Ping G430 LST in 2023, ranking near the bottom of PGA Tour Champions in driving, and the switch to the GT2 was a direct response to that. Even in his mid-fifties, Choi still generates real clubhead speed, a leftover trait from his power-lifting days as a junior.

Srixon ZX MK II and Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke

Choi splits his fairway woods across two brands. His 3-wood is a Srixon ZX MK II at 15°, chosen for a workable flight and forgiveness off the deck. His 5-wood steps up to a Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke Triple Diamond at 18°, a lower-spin head built for stronger ball-strikers. Both run the same Fujikura Ventus VeloCore Black 6X shaft, keeping the feel consistent between the two clubs.

TaylorMade Stealth 2, 22°

Rounding out the top of the bag is a TaylorMade Stealth 2 hybrid at 22°, built on a Graphite Design Tour AD IZ 6X shaft. It's the third different brand in Choi's first four clubs, a clear sign he's picking each head on performance rather than sticking to one manufacturer.

Srixon ZXi7

Choi plays the Srixon ZXi7 iron set. It's a notable shift for a player who spent years in Miura blades and Cleveland-Srixon combo sets earlier in his career, and reflects the same theme running through his whole bag: performance over habit, even this deep into his career.

Odyssey White Hot OG Seven

On the greens, Choi rolls the Odyssey White Hot OG Seven, a mallet putter he has trusted for years. He values its stability and soft feel, and the White Hot insert helps produce a clean, consistent roll with limited skid off the face. Even during a season of change everywhere else in the bag, the putter has stayed constant.
