Tommy Fleetwood waited years for a maiden PGA Tour win, and when it finally came at the 2025 Tour Championship, he did it with one of the most distinctive bags on tour. He was carrying a mini driver before most players even knew what one was, and his setup still changes shape depending on the course more than almost anyone else's in the game.

TaylorMade Qi4D LS, 9°

Fleetwood plays the TaylorMade Qi4D LS at 9°, built on a Fujikura Ventus TR Blue 60g X-Stiff shaft. He was among the first TaylorMade players, alongside Rory McIlroy, to switch into a prototype of the 2026 driver at the DP World Tour's Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, well ahead of most of the field.

TaylorMade R7 Quad, 13.5°

This is the club Fleetwood is best known for pioneering. He's carried a mini driver in some form for years, moving from the BRNR Mini to the newer R7 Quad, on a Fujikura Ventus Red shaft. His reasoning is simple and specific: "If I HAD to hit a fairway, I'm more comfortable hitting a driver than a 3-wood," he's explained, using the mini driver to hit a controlled cut into tight fairways rather than reaching for a hotter-flighted 3-wood.

A 5-Wood and a 9-Wood

Fleetwood carries a TaylorMade Qi35 5-wood at 18° and a TaylorMade Qi10 9-wood at 24°, both on Mitsubishi Kuro Kage XTS 80 TX shafts. The 9-wood has been in his bag for multiple seasons, and he's pointed out that it travels within five yards of his 4-iron despite performing completely differently, giving him a much easier launch on that same yardage.

A Course-Dependent 4-Iron and TaylorMade P7TW

Fleetwood's iron setup genuinely changes week to week. He carries a TaylorMade GAPR Lo 4-iron, but whether it's actually in the bag depends entirely on the course and how the 9-wood is covering that yardage instead. From 5-iron through pitching wedge, he plays the TaylorMade P7TW, a premium blade co-designed with Tiger Woods, all on Project X 6.5 shafts with Golf Pride Tour Velvet grips.

Hi-Toe 4 and MG5

Because Fleetwood carries extra clubs at the top of the bag between the mini driver and two fairway woods, he typically only has room for three wedges. He plays a TaylorMade Hi-Toe 4 at 52°, then two MG5 models at 56° and 60°, all on True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400 shafts. His wedge play has improved noticeably in recent seasons, and he credits these models directly.

TaylorMade Spider Tour Black

The putter is one of the few genuinely stable pieces of Fleetwood's bag. He switched into the black TaylorMade Spider Tour shortly after the 2025 Masters, replacing his TaylorMade Truss model, and it's stayed in play ever since.

TaylorMade TP5x Pix

Fleetwood plays the TaylorMade TP5x Pix, a ball he's used since joining the brand. The TP5x line was the first five-piece golf ball ever produced when TaylorMade introduced it in 2017, and it remains one of the most-played tour balls in the game.

Tommy Fleetwood WITB

Tommy Fleetwood's bag reflects exactly the kind of golfer he is: a meticulous ball-striker who adjusts his setup by the week rather than forcing one configuration to work everywhere. From pioneering the mini driver years before it caught on across the tour to finally breaking through for his first PGA Tour win, Fleetwood's equipment story matches his career, patient, deliberate, and finally paying off.
